After finally finishing all of Taskmaster (😭), we pivoted to another reality competition classic: Survivor. We started with Season 1 (despite its age and some cautionary tales from friends) and found ourselves totally hooked. The pace was definitely slower, but what stood out most was how much of the season was spent dissecting the ethics of alliances. Alliances, you guys! Like, the bedrock of allllllll competition shows. It was wild to see it all begin. We’re not planning to watch all 50-something seasons, but we’re excited to catch some of our favorite all-stars in their original form.

• The closest thing to a personal episode of Black Mirror. Love the AI. Don’t trust the AI. 🤖 

• On Finding God, The Gen Z Way. “At some point over the course of the year, I realized that all this time spent in churches among new Christians was having a cumulative effect on me: Christianity no longer felt like an alien concept, but something I might want to explore in my own life.” ✝️

• The CIA method for making quick decisions under stress. Essentially a good guide on basic problem solving skills. 🕵

• Being fully booked without burning out. I’d also add, remember that extended boundaries can only be for a season, and you can make a change whenever you need to. 💼

• Migraine Relief Cap. This has been particularly helpful as summer temperatures finally hit and I get that instant headache just walking out the door. Thanks to Shannon Evanko for the recommendation! Though wish none of us had need of this. 🤕

• Panels. The older I get the more I want art in my life. 🖼️

• EVA Sandals. I drove to multiple Aldi’s to grad their $7 bright blue pair of these. Perfect for the pool and the backyard, and having an extra pair stops me from wearing out my Birks too fast. 🩴

• Zapier. Ever wish your email could talk to your Slack or your project board? Enter Zapier! So many many corporate uses to save you time and manual labor, but I guarantee you can find a use in your personal life too. ⚡️
