I like the way you work it, no diggity.

Chronotypes, The Residence, beach bag, etc...

I often find myself fighting off a headache or stomachache. Some of this is genetic, some of it’s anxiety (probably), and some of it probably needs a proper diagnosis. But lately I’ve noticed a surprising amount of relief just from moving my body more. Not formal workouts, just simple, everyday movement. Things like hitting a plastic golf ball around the backyard, taking turns with my kids on the tennis ball-on-a-string, or swimming a lap or two when we’re at the pool. In this season, it’s less about squeezing in a “real” workout and more about keeping my body in motion. This movement goal eases some of these health issues, and gives me a general sense of working towards wellness.

What “movement” are you enjoying these days?

  • NYT Games. These are a nice wake up for my brain during breakfast. My preferred order is Crossword, Wordle, Connections, Strands, then Tiles. Anybody else a fan? 📰

  • Stuffable Neck Pillow. I’ve seen a few versions of these! I’m all for efficient use of space. 🥱

  • Rubber Beach Bag. These are allllll over the pool and beach this summer. Learn from my mistake and buy bigger than you think you need. 🏝️

  • Libby. We all probably know and love Libby for free access to ebooks and audiobooks BUT I recently learned my library also offers magazine subscriptions! 📚
